Energy Unite will specialize in Billing solutions in all aspects on Electricity and water metering. At Utility the shortage of skilled personal often result in incorrect utility bills received by customers. We install and monitor Electricity & Water meters on the incomers and will use the Utility bill to run the data on our system and do Bill Verifications by comparing the readings. If any discrepancies are picked up Energy Unite can provide a service to manage the correction with the Utility. Our metering complies with all international and local specifications and will be recognized by all utilities in the world.

Energy Unite billing solutions includes all sub-billing and the redistribution of Electricity and Water. Utilities only provide bulk connections to developments and it is the responsibility of the Developer, Owners or Body corporates to distribute and bill all the properties commercial or residential for Electricity and water. Energy Unite will be able to manage this on behalf of the customer with AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) systems, AMI (Advance Meter Infrastructure) solutions and also on site stand alone metering systems for Post-paid and Prepaid metering solutions.

POWER QUALITY

Solutions and Audits

Power Quality refers to the ability of electrical equipment to consume the energy being supplied to it. A number of power quality issues including electrical harmonics, poor power factor, voltage instability and imbalance impact on the efficiency of electrical equipment. By installing power monitoring recorders to record the wave forms of your Voltage and Current on your network, the solution can accurately determine the causes of the Power Quality problems. 

 Energy Unite have more than 15 years of experience in Power Quality audits and solutions. Energy Unite is an Eco Expert of Schneider Electric and will utilize Schneider Electric Power Quality meters installed in mobile units to install them in the customer premises on a temporary basis. During the audit period Energy Unite will download the meters frequently and once sufficient data is recorded, write a comprehensive Power Quality report. Power Quality corrective and improvement recommendations are recorded in the report and through consultation on Energy Efficiency solutions, the most profitable cost saving solutions are monitored and implemented.

Energy Unite specialize in solutions for Utilities to automate the Power Quality monthly reporting requirements by NERSA (National Energy Regulator of South Africa).

POWER FACTOR CORRECTION

Audits and Sizing

Utilities will penalize a poor Power Factor and will also increase the KVA Demand that will result in a higher Electricity Bill. Energy Unite will do an Audit on the facility and install test meters to write a report and recommendation on the Power Factor with recommendations. 

Poor Power Factor can also cause Power Quality problems that will shorten the lifespan of equipment and increase maintenance frequency and cost. Energy Unite will do the audit and size the Power Factor Correction bank and recommend if Harmonic filters are required to improve the quality of supply and increase the maintenance frequency and life of the equipment.
